You will be responsible for ensuring that migrated applications, upgraded infrastructure, and security monitoring tools—specifically <strong>Microsoft Sentinel</strong>—meet the highest quality standards before reaching production.</p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal">If you thrive in fast-paced environments, possess an agile mindset, and have a proven track record of validating complex infrastructure and security systems, we want to hear from you.</p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Test Planning &amp; Design: </strong>Responsible for the preparation of comprehensive test management plans, scripts, and acceptance criteria (Definition of Done) for user stories and requirements.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Infrastructure &amp; Security Validation: </strong>Prepare a test plan and detailed test scripts for each infrastructure/security component to demonstrate the business condition under test and anticipated results.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Test Reporting: </strong>Responsible for the overarching test reporting for the project, providing regular updates and reports to the Portfolio Test Manager for project scheduling.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Quality Assurance: </strong>Maintain high quality and accuracy throughout the lifecycle up to software release, ensuring all work meets schedule and quality requirements.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Collaboration &amp; Defect Management: </strong>Work collaboratively with suppliers and the user base to ensure the testability of new features and timely resolution of defects.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Estimation: </strong>Support the scoping and estimation of effort for each user story added to the Product Backlog.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>UAT Management: </strong>Lead and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with a technical user base.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Cloud &amp; Security Validation: </strong>Leading the testing efforts for security monitoring on Azure and the migration of applications to Azure environments.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Supplier Assurance: </strong>Overseeing and assuring the quality of testing performed by external suppliers.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Hybrid Methodology Support: </strong>Supporting the transition and delivery within environments moving from Waterfall to Agile (Scrum/Kanban).</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Tool Management: </strong>Utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) for test configuration, defect tracking, and collaboration.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Key Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Testing Core: </strong>10+ experience and deep understanding of structured test methods, processes, and manual testing.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Cloud Infrastructure: </strong>Proven track record of testing upgraded infrastructure and cloud services, specifically involving migrations to Azure.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Security Expertise: </strong>Proven track record of testing security applications on cloud services, with specific skills in Microsoft Sentinel.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Tooling: </strong>Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing the testing lifecycle.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Agile Expertise: </strong>Experience working in Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and supporting the product backlog process.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Soft Skills: </strong>A meticulous approach to quality and the ability to provide confident updates and feedback to project teams and line managers.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Industry Experience:</strong> Previous experience within large-scale logistics or postal organizations.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Automation:</strong> Hands-on exposure to automated testing frameworks.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Ready to join the team?
