We are looking for a Credit Analyst (Retail Underwriting) to join us at this pivotal moment, share our vision, and help shape the future of European banking.Underwriting & Analysis: Evaluate credit applications for retail products (loans, cards) by assessing creditworthiness and repayment capacity against bank risk policies.
Decision Making: Approve, decline, or request further documentation for manual credit cases based on detailed financial analysis.
Portfolio Management: Maintain portfolio quality and regulatory compliance by adhering to risk guidelines and industry best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Risk, and Collections to streamline the underwriting lifecycle and address process bottlenecks.
Strategy & Optimization: Recommend adjustments to credit policies and manual workflows to improve efficiency and adapt to market trends.
Data Reporting: Utilize SQL (BigQuery) to extract data and generate insights on application trends and portfolio performance.
2–5 years of experience in retail credit underwriting within banking.
Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and credit reports to identify risk factors.
Basic SQL (BigQuery) skills for data extraction and performance reporting.
Ability to independently approve or decline applications with clear, documented rationale.
Solid grasp of credit risk principles, retail banking products, and regulatory standards.
Strong time management for fast-paced environments and a proactive mindset for process improvement.
SoClear communication for stakeholder management and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Polish C2, English B2
Degree in Finance, Statistics, CS, Math, or Econometrics (preferred).
