Your Role
Freshly cooked food. Everywhere. All the time. With our robots, we’re transforming the way the world cooks and enjoys food. Through technology that supports the foodservice industry, reduces food waste, and elevates culinary quality to a new, scalable level. Accessible to everyone. Everywhere. Anytime. We give our all to make this happen – across every level, team and function.
As Senior DevOps Engineer, you make sure our robotic kitchens run reliably in the field. By automating edge-server provisioning and operations, strengthening our deployment and release pipelines, and enabling the software team with CI/CD and staging environments that let us ship fast, safely, and repeatably.
These are the tasks you will be responsible for:- Edge infrastructure automation: You automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle operations of the edge servers that run our robotic kitchens – so we can scale production deployments without friction.
- Delivery pipeline engineering: You own and evolve our deployment pipeline to ship customer-facing software updates to robots in the field fast, reliably, and with confidence.
- Release operations & observability: You run deployments end-to-end, monitor fleet health and key service metrics, and lead incident response (including safe rollbacks) when releases misbehave.
- CI/CD platform support: You empower our software teams with strong CI/CD foundations – especially by building and refining staging environments that realistically mirror the robotic edge setup and production behavior.
Your profile
You’re passionate about innovative technologies, excited about the role, and ready to help us revolutionize the worlds of tech and culinary even further? Let’s get cooking!
These are the qualities helping you thrive in this role:- DevOps & SysAdmin foundation: You have strong hands-on DevOps experience (ideally 5+ years) and a solid system administration background (Linux ops, troubleshooting, stability, basics in networking & hardening).
- Linux on edge & robotics mindset: You’re confident with Linux distributions and you enjoy working close to hardware in an edge/robotics environment.
- IaC, containers & Kubernetes: You’re proficient with Ansible and Helm, know Docker, and have practical experience with Kubernetes (or you can ramp up fast).
- Hybrid infrastructure (not cloud-only): You are confident running solutions across self-managed on-premise servers rather than only relying on cloud infrastructure.
- Databases & coding: Experience working with different types of databases as well as object-oriented programming experience (e.g., Python, C++) to build automation and tooling are a plus.
- Bare-metal Linux & on-site networking mindset: You can take a device from “on the bench” to “production-ready”: install and harden Linux, troubleshoot drivers/storage, and bring up connectivity by configuring routers/switches (e.g., switchports, VLANs, DHCP/DNS, VPN).
- Collaboration & languages: You work seamlessly with cross-functional teams (Software, Robotics, Manufacturing, Operations), communicate clearly, and you’re fluent in English.
- Problem-solving mindset: You learn fast, love tackling new technical challenges, and you consistently push for the best solution.
