You’ll also partner closely with Mechanical Integrity and multiple stakeholders to improve inspection processes—leveraging GE APM/Meridium—and staying current with evolving NDE and industry practices.

  • At least (2) current API certifications, such as API 510 / API 570 / API 653 / API 580
  • Strong, in-depth working knowledge of API inspection codes, including:
    • API 510
    • API 570
    • API 653
  • Experience assisting with the review of inspection reports for:
    • Data quality
    • Code compliance for pressure vessels, piping, and tanks
  • Proficiency with GE APM / Meridium software for inspection-related workflows (IDMS support)
  • Understanding of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and damage mechanism reviews, including basic concepts of probability and consequence as they relate to equipment risk ranking
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills (able to guide contractors and support training/work processes)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Mechanical Integrity, engineering disciplines, operations, and management
  • Valid/Current TWIC required
  • Experience supporting or executing inspection and repair execution with Mechanical Integrity teams
  • Familiarity with IDMS software workflows beyond basic tool usage (supporting training and inspection work processes)
  • Experience staying current on advancements in NDE techniques and applying industry best practices
  • Preferred: Relevant technical education and/or formal certification pathways supporting pressure equipment and inspection code knowledge
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience performing and/or leading inspection activities under API standards, with a track record supporting RBI-driven integrity programs
  • Valid/Current TWIC required
  • Duration: Long-term contract to direct
  • Target Pay: $70.00/hour
  • Role involves collaboration with multiple internal groups and supporting inspection/repair guidance and documentation

If you’re an API-focused inspection leader who enjoys driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in mechanical integrity programs, apply now and help strengthen the integrity of the equipment and the people who protect it.
