General cover teacher - Middleton

About the role:

We are currently looking for general cover teachers to take up ad hoc, short term and long term temporary assignments for one of our Secondary schools in Middleton. Due to the size of the school, we have an ongoing need for cover and this suits anyone who would like flexible work to fit around other work or life commitments. This flexible work will commence in Sept 2026 and is on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure students are engaged in learning and complete pre set work
• Manage the conduct and behaviour in the classroom
• Maintain a calm learning environment

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant teaching qualification
• 2 education work references
• Clear DBS (or willing to obtain one)
• RTW in the UK
