The consultant will work as a Senior IT Developer in IMSecurities, developing and modernising backend integration components around the Safekeeping and Corporate Actions platform. The work includes designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting Java-based microservices and integration components connecting IMSecurities with other client systems.
Must-have knowledge and experience
Strong Java backend development experience from large-scale enterprise environments, min. 5 years for Senior, 10 years for Expert.
Spring Boot and Spring Integration.
SQL and relational databases, preferably Oracle.
Messaging and event-driven integration, preferably IBM MQ and Kafka.
Experience with REST services, microservices and integration patterns.
Maven, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Automated testing with JUnit and Testcontainers.
Ability to analyse requirements, system flows, logs, data flows and production issues.
Fluent English.
Nice-to-have knowledge and experience
Experience from banking, trading,
cloud-ready application design.
Experience modernising integration custody, settlement, corporate actions or another regulated domain.
Experience with containerisation and layers around vendor platforms or legacy systems.
Practical experience with test automation, static code analysis and AI-assisted development tools.
