About the Role
<strong>Class 1 HGV Driver – Trunking</strong><br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Kidderminster<br><strong>Pay:</strong> £17.08 per hour, up to £25.62 per hour PAYE<br><strong>Hours:</strong> Full-time, temporary ongoing<br><strong>Start times:</strong> 06:00 or 11:00<br><strong>Shift length:</strong> Approximately 10–12 hours<br><br>We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for ongoing, full-time work with our established client in Kidderminster.<br><br>This is straightforward RDC-to-RDC trunking, delivering pharmaceutical products in refrigerated vehicles. There is no handball, making it an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for clean, consistent and well-paid trunking work.<br><br><strong>Pay rates</strong><br><ul><li><strong>£17.08 per hour PAYE</strong></li><ul><li>After 12 weeks: £25.62 per hour for hours worked over 42.5 per week</li><li>Bank holidays during the first 12 weeks: £18.72 per hour</li><li>Bank holidays after 12 weeks:<strong> £25.62 per hour</strong></li></ul></ul><br><strong>The role</strong><br><ul><li>RDC-to-RDC pharmaceutical deliveries</li><ul><li>Refrigerated Class 1 vehicles</li><li><strong>No handball</strong></li><li>Regular 06:00 or 11:00 start times</li><li>Shifts averaging 10–12 hours</li><li>Some trailer uncoupling and curtainside operation may be required</li><li>Temporary ongoing work with full-time hours available</li></ul></ul><br><strong>Driver requirements</strong><br><ul><li>To be considered, you must:</li><ul><li>Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence</li><li>Have at least <strong>two years of Class 1</strong> driving experience</li><li>Have previous experience driving refrigerated vehicles</li><li>Be aged <strong>25 or over</strong> for insurance purposes</li><li>Have <strong>fewer than six points</strong> on your licence</li><li>Have no driving endorsements</li><li>Hold valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards</li><li>Be reliable, professional and able to commit to ongoing work</li></ul></ul><br>This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver seeking reliable full-time hours, minimal manual handling and excellent overtime rates.<br><br><strong>Apply today</strong> for an immediate discussion and further information, or <strong>call Pertemps Driving on 01905 611555.</strong>
