About the Role
We are looking for a business-oriented QA Engineer (regular exp.) to join one of our project teams responsible for building a Card Tracking System for one of the global humanitarian organisations.
This position supports mainly manual testing activities (70% of working time) including collaborating with the product owners and engineers to define testing needs and priorities, creating test plans, scripts and strategies for new product initiatives as well as improving user experience while optimising our software development life cycle. The drive to introduce automated tests is more than welcome (30% of working time). Agile mindset, flexibility and prioritising skills are must haves in this role.
your job will include
testing new functionalities in accordance with their specification (70% manual tests, 30% automated tests)
defining acceptance criteria for features
making suggestions for changes and improvements to projects
optimisation of testing processes
maintenance of documentation
close collaboration with developers & PM team on the implementation of app
API testing and endpoint testing (Postman)
code review related to automated tests
creating performance tests (Proxyman)
preferred skills & qualifications
practical experience of software development testing, both web and mobile
experience with DB testing (PostgreSQL, DataGrip), performance testing and API testing (Postman, Swagger, REST, Charles)
experience with Git and most effective QA tools
good knowledge of testing methodologies and test cases specification & execution
solid knowledge of CI and CD
strong problem solving and analytical skills
the ability to adapt to changing contexts and priorities
client-centric approach and strong communication skills (you will take part in meetings with business on a daily basis)
accuracy and attention to details
very good level of English (both written and spoken)
very good level of Polish 🇵🇱 (we work in an international environment, but within the company, we communicate in Polish)
