About the Role

Your Mission

Support Our Test Automation
You'll work with our development teams to build and maintain automated tests in Playwright. Whether it's implementing new tests, updating existing ones, or helping debug issues, you'll provide hands-on support wherever test automation is needed.

Keep Our Tests Documented
You'll document test cases in Gherkin format so everyone can understand what's being tested. You'll help maintain clear, up-to-date documentation that reflects our actual test coverage.

Learn While You Work
You'll collaborate with experienced developers who'll guide you as you learn modern test automation practices. You'll gain practical experience with Playwright, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend testing while balancing your studies.

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled at a German university with at least 12 months remaining in your studies
  • Available for at least 12 months and 20h/week
  • 1+ year of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Genuinely interested in software testing and excited to dive deeper into Playwright
  • Proactive learner who asks questions and seeks to understand, not just complete tasks
  • Structured working style and able to work independently on clear assignments
  • English communication skills (German is a bonus)
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience with Playwright, React, Git, or CI/CD pipelines
    • Familiarity with test management in Jira
    • Knowledge of accessibility (A11y) best practices or web performance optimization
