Looking for a role with an easy commute and excellent earning potential? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Building Services provider at a prestigious commercial site just moments from London Bridge Station.
We're seeking either a mechanically or electrically biased Shift Engineer to become part of a highly skilled on-site team. Working a continental shift pattern, you'll enjoy a great work-life balance while maintaining a varied and technically challenging role within a modern, high-profile building.
The Role As a Shift Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a critical commercial environment, ensuring all building systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Key Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance across building services systems
• Electrical or mechanical fault finding and repairs
• AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated plant
• UPS systems and emergency lighting
• BMS monitoring and operation
• Fire alarms and sprinkler systems
• HVAC equipment maintenance
• Permit-to-work management
• Health & Safety compliance
• Site logbooks and compliance documentation

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience within commercial building maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• HVAP qualification is beneficial but not essential

• £50,000 – £55,000 salary
