Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Pay: $2490.48 per week
Shifts: Straight Days 7A-7:30P, EOW and Holiday

Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional health
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient responses to care and adjust plans as necessary
- Provide education to patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
- Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on the severity of illness or injury
- Assist in resuscitation, stabilization, and advanced life support procedures during emergencies
- Operate and maintain emergency equipment, including defibrillators, monitors, and ventilators
- Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care
- Communicate patient status, changes, and care plans clearly to team members and families
- Adhere to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff by following infection control and safety protocols
Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse
- Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ED
- Must have 1 year of previous travel experience
