About the Role

The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and accurate loading, unloading, and processing of products within a temperature-controlled distribution center. This is a fast-paced environment that requires precision, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety protocols. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates MATERIAL HANDLER | RESPONSIBILITIES: Order Processing: Pick, label, and scan barcodes for customer orders using RF technology. Inbound/Outbound Logistics: Load and off-load shipments utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Inventory Integrity: Locate and retrieve products, replenish picking locations, and report any discrepancies between physical inventory and shipping documents. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and complete all required training modules. Maintenance: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area at all times. MATERIAL HANDLER | REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. 1+ year of experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Reach Truck experience is required. Experience with multiple types of equipment (Reach Truck, Counterbalance/Slip and Clamp, and Dock Stocker) is strongly preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner; basic analytical and organizational skills. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise and moving mechanical equipment. Must have/wear safety shoes and a safety vest.
