KYC - Release Manager

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

- Ensuring that new releases to the Bank's technology platforms and applications are planned and executed efficiently, with the highest quality for customers and operations, and in compliance with the Bank's standards.
- Working with many different stakeholders such as other release managers, Test managers, Product owners, Execution leads, Scrum Masters, Operations teams etc, in order to secure a safe and successful delivery
- Coordinating, planning and maintaining the release roadmap for one or more applications.
- Release and deployment planning and coordination of multiple parallel releases
- Planning release go live and post-go-live activities.
- Planning, coordinating and tracking change activities throughout the release process
- Leading release decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval for each release milestone.
- Planning and setting up handover sessions from development teams to operations teams
- Increasing release quality and efficiency by integrating new techniques, automation capabilities, and DevOps ways of working to release orchestration.

Must-have knowledge and experience

- IT project management and planning skills (5+ years)
- Previous experience from release or deployment management activities (preferably from the banking sector)
- Experience working with incident, problem and change management tools and processes under the ITIL framework (preferably on the Bank's side )
- Confident working with Project Management tools. (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience to work with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
- Basic understanding of DevOps ways of working

Location: Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warsaw

Hybrid: 2/3 days per week from the office
