Rhino Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing shading solutions provider for the construction industry based in Cardiff. We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Assistant to support the successful delivery of projects across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous project support experience within the construction industry who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive team.

The Role

As a Project Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to project teams, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and coordination of project activities and schedules.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates.
• Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and key stakeholders.
• Track project deliverables and support deadline management.
• Assist with budget monitoring and expense tracking.
• Identify and escalate potential project issues when required.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider project team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Project Support, Project Administration, or similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
