About the Role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive primary school team.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate practitioner who understands the importance of high-quality early childhood education and is eager to help our youngest learners develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning from the very start of their school journey.
About the role:
You will work as part of our Early Years team, supporting children in Nursery/Reception through a play-based, child-centred approach. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Please note that a recognised qualification in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) or an equivalent credential is essential for consideration for this role.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging Early Years activities in line with the EYFS framework
Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress
Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing
Working closely with teachers, parents, and other staff to support children’s development
Helping to maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
