About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities on active construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring all work performed by contractors and subcontractors meets project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Pay: $45/hr
Schedule: Full-time | Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement QA/QC plans for construction projects
Perform routine site inspections and audits to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards
Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and material submittals
Partner with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions
Maintain detailed quality records, reports, and documentation
Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues and implement preventive measures
Provide guidance and training on QA/QC processes to project teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred), Construction Management, or related field
10+ years of QA/QC experience in construction environments
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification
Experience in Life Sciences, GMP, or cleanroom construction projects
