Nursery Teacher – Primary School – Watford
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September / ASAP
Contract: Full-time / Permanent (or Fixed-term)
Salary: MPS / UPS (dependent on experience)
A friendly and nurturing primary school in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to provide children with an engaging and inspiring start to their educational journey.
The Role
- Full class teacher responsibility for a Nursery class
- Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS Framework
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting children’s academic, social and emotional development
- Assessing and monitoring progress through observations and the EYFS curriculum
- Working closely with parents, colleagues and support staff to ensure every child thrives
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within Early Years, ideally in a Nursery setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development
- Creative, nurturing and passionate about early years education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Committed to helping every child reach their full potential
