About the Role
Senior IT ManagerCambridge£60k-£65kAn established and highly respected organisation is looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead its internal technology function and support the delivery of a reliable, secure and forward-thinking IT service.This is a broad and varied leadership role that combines strategic planning, team management and hands-on technical involvement. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure technology continues to support organisational objectives while also maintaining oversight of infrastructure, cyber security and service delivery.The RoleAs the IT Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the IT function, ensuring users receive a high-quality service while driving improvements across systems, processes and infrastructure.You'll lead a small technical team, provide guidance on complex technical issues and play a key role in shaping future technology investment and development. It’s important you’re still happy to remain hands on at times.Key areas of responsibility include:Leading and developing the internal IT team.Managing IT operations and service delivery across multiple sites.Driving continuous improvement initiatives and technology projects.Overseeing infrastructure performance, availability and resilience.Maintaining a strong focus on cyber security, business continuity and risk management.Working closely with senior leadership to align technology with business objectives.Managing third-party suppliers and technology partners.Supporting budgeting, procurement and resource planning activities.Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation. What We're Looking ForWe're keen to speak with experienced IT leaders who are comfortable operating at both a strategic and technical level.
