<p style="text-align: center">We are looking for a confident and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a small, friendly, practice in West Sussex.<br />

<p>Two consulting rooms with dedicated theatre, digital x-ray, and dental facilities</p>

<p> Two experienced nurses and a dedicated support team, alongside Lead Veterinary Surgeon</p>

<h3><strong>Role Overview</strong></h3>
<p>As an RVN, you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse-led appointments and supporting the vet during procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring exceptional care for patients, clients, and colleagues while maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards.</p>
<ul>

<p>Permanent full-time role: 40 hours per week</p>
<li>
<p>Participation in a 1 in 6 full weekends</p>
<li>
<p>Two weeks of out-of-hours (OOH) duty annually</p>

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<p><u><strong>Patient Care:</strong></u></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Support vets with procedures and operations</p>
<li>
<p>Carry out nurse-led appointments</p>
<li>
<p>Monitor and care for patients before, during, and after procedures</p>
<li>
<p>Manage admissions, discharges, and patient transfers</p>
<li>
<p>Dispense and check medication as required</p>
</ul>
<p><u><strong>Client Care:</strong></u></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Deliver exceptional client care every day</p>
<li>
<p>Provide clear updates and guidance to clients</p>
</ul>
<p><u><strong>Standards & Compliance:</strong></u></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Ensure compliance with all regulatory and practice standards</p>
<li>
<p>Maintain health and safety requirements</p>
</ul>
<p><u><strong>Clinical Administration & Commercial Performance:</strong></u></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Take and package lab samples</p>
<li>
<p>Manage stock efficiently, including rotation and expiry</p>
<li>
<p>Maximise nurse-led appointments to enhance patient care and clinic capacity</p>
<li>
<p>Hold daily briefings and coordinate team activity</p>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Skills, Knowledge & Experience</strong></h3>

<p>RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse</p>
<li>
<p>Confident delivering all aspects of general practice nursing</p>
<li>
<p>Works effectively as part of a team</p>

<p>Supports nurse consults and understands their impact on clinic performance</p>
<li>
<p>Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues to achieve their best</p>
<li>
<p>Committed to delivering exceptional patient and client care</p>
