About the Role

Are you an experienced EMC Engineer looking to lead integration on one of the UK’s most complex infrastructure programmes?

Are you looking to work on a career defining project that will be going on for the next 10 years?

Salary: circa £75,000 to £98,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Where: Birmingham/London office, in office 3 days per week, 2 from home
Closing date: 13th May

Essential requirements:

  • Strong EMC experience on large infrastructure projects (rail desirable, not essential)
  • Background in sectors such as rail, power, T&D, or renewables
  • Experience working client-side or within a main contractor environment
  • Strong understanding of EMC standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to lead through influence within matrix organisations
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead EMC integration across multiple infrastructure and rail systems packages
  • Develop and maintain standards, specifications, and EMC strategies
  • Manage EMC risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with contractors and SMEs to drive consistent delivery
  • Engage with external stakeholders to manage interface risks beyond the railway

This is a high-impact role offering the chance to shape EMC strategy on a nationally significant programme.
