About the Role

BettingJobs is working with a growing UKGC operator who are looking for a Senior Compliance Professional to join their team in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of regulatory compliance under the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP).
Serve as the company's UKGC Regulatory Lead, managing audits, submissions, and official communications.
Oversee AML/CTF, social responsibility, Safer Gambling, and data protection compliance frameworks.
Maintain and enhance the company's policies, controls, and training programmes to ensure a culture of compliance.
Represent the business in regulatory discussions, inspections, and external stakeholder meetings.
Lead, mentor and develop the compliance team, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a senior compliance role within a UKGC-licensed operator (e.g. casino, sportsbook, bingo, or lottery).
Deep understanding of the UKGC regulatory framework, LCCP, and anti-money laundering regulations (POCA 2002, MLR 2017).
Excellent grasp of social responsibility and player protection obligations.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at Board level.
Confident managing regulator relationships and external audits.
Legal, compliance, or risk qualifications (e.g. ICA, CAMS, or similar) advantageous.
