Description
As Migration Environment Owner you have overall responsibility for the lower and higher environments used by Customer, Migration and ADS (Arrangement Directory Services) ART in Core Banking program. This ART is preparing and delivering..
•    account migrations from current ledgers systems to the new ledger system (N-core) with minimal customer impact
•    improvements, fixes and data clean-up to ensure a complete and accurate set of new and existing customer records are available in N-core to enable new product offers and migrations
•    full set of Bank arrangements for consumer usage of ADS

Responsibilities
•    Overall responsibility for the lower (Dev, Test) and higher (PreProd) Migration environments
•    Support preparations for the Go Live events in Production, and also support during the execution of such events that usually take place on weekends
•    Proactively identify and manage external dependencies, risks and impediments impacting planned deliveries across the whole ART, and solve issues regarding environments
•    Responsible for providing migration environment requirements to environment provider for procurement, configuration and ongoing maintenance
•    Responsible for planning, scheduling and governing the migration environments
o    This includes defining the Trial Conversion schedule, scheduling all refreshes/imports, lining up technical support, etc.
o    Responsible for user access of these environments
o    Responsible for resolving scheduling conflicts between different ARTs who are using the environments
•    Frequent collaboration with other ARTs and teams and other stakeholders
o    Engagement with Retail Technology Services team to ensure they meet our requirements per the defined schedule (environment refreshes, code installations, DB imports, etc)
o    Understand and follow the state of main Core Banking test environments (INT1, PERF envs), what is happening there, and take it into consideration when planning any test events with other teams such as Non-Functional test team
o    Drive Core legacy teams for any environment work required
o    Responsible for vendor management at a tactical level regarding environments
        §    This includes driving all IBM work to setup environments for ADS and Migration
        §    Driving and communicating with IBM on work to be done and lining up their support for testing, Final Dress Rehearsal and Go Live Events
•    Keep environment related Jira tickets and enabler features and external dependencies logged, planned and up to date
•    Facilitate ART ceremonies and processes and assist the team in delivering value

 

Must-have knowledge and experience

'Needed skills and experience
• Proactive and systematic mindset is a must-have to succeed in this role
• Several years' experience in managing successfully IT projects or services in complex IT landscape
• Fluent English language skills (we use English in daily work)
• Strong relationship, collaboration and presentation skills
• Ability to understand technical aspects of environments to get all issues and challenges solved with help of different managers and technical experts
• Experience or understanding of agile methodologies
• Previous experience from Oracle technologies (WebLogic, ExaData) or Temenos Transact products is also beneficial although not must-have to start in the role

 

Location: Gdansk or Gdynia

Hybrid: 2 days per week from the office
