About the Role
11kV Senior Authorised Persons – Switchgear & Transformer Replacements – Long Term Contracts – Outside IR35 – North of England – ASAP StartWe are working in partnership with a successful subcontractor who are seeking experienced 11kV Senior Authorised Persons to support a long term programme of substation refurbishment works, with a strong focus on switchgear replacements and transformer change outs across the North of England.Responsibilities:Act as Senior Authorised Person for all 11kV operations, ensuring Safety from the System at all times.Plan, prepare and execute HV switching schedules to facilitate switchgear and transformer replacements.Carry out and oversee 11kV switching, isolations, earthing and restoration activities.Manage transformer removals, installations and commissioning interfaces.Oversee switchgear change outs, upgrades and substation refurbishment works.Prepare, issue and control safety documentation and permits in line with DNO procedures.Develop, review and implement RAMs for high-risk switching and lifting activities.Maintain clear communication with the control room, site teams and contractors throughout outages.Requirements:11kV Senior Authorised Person under a UK DNO.Must be a full SAP with no limitations.Strong, demonstrable experience delivering HV switching.Proven background in substation works, specifically switchgear and transformer replacements.Based in, or willing to travel across, the North of England.Full UK driving license.Logistics & Benefits:Monday to FridayOutside IR35 day rate.Long-term contracts with a consistent pipeline of works.Immediate / short-notice starts available.Gain further DNO authorisationsIn order to be successful, you must hold previous DNO authorisations.
