Shift Manager

Are you an experienced production leader ready to take full ownership of shift performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are looking for a confident and driven Night Shift Manager to lead our clients' production operation, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output while developing and motivating high-performing teams. As Shift Manager, you will take full accountability for production performance during your shift. You will lead from the front with a strong shop floor presence, ensuring targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Working hours are Monday- Friday 10pm- 6am Salary: £39,990 + £2000 night shift allowance, up to £4600 contractual overtime dependant on hours  Key Responsibilities Lead a strong safety-first culture. Ensure safe systems of work and compliance with all HSE standards. Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions. Deliver the production plan on time and in full. Manage KPIs including scrap, quality Ensure effective labour utilisation and shift handovers. Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Maintain compliance with BRC, ISO, GMP and internal procedures. Manage non-conformances and quality issues on shift. Lead, coach and develop production teams. Set clear expectations for performance and behaviour. Manage attendance, conduct return-to-work meetings and address people matters consistently. Support training, progression and succession planning. Drive waste reduction, scrap control and labour efficiency. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
