SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER AT BY MALENE BIRGER

We are currently seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead the development and execution of

elevated visual identity & concepts across all channels.

The position

As a Senior Graphic Designer at By Malene Birger, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the brand’s

visual identity across all touchpoints. You will be responsible for leading creative projects from concept to final

delivery, ensuring a consistent and elevated brand expression.

Working closely with the Image Director, Art Director, VM and cross-functional teams, including E-commerce and

Marketing, you will contribute strategically as well as creatively - translating brand direction into strong visual

concepts and high-quality executions.

This role requires both hands-on design expertise and the ability to take ownership of projects, drive creative

development, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Concept Development

• Develop creative graphic concepts and visual assets across all brand channels, ensuring a strong and cohesive

visual expression

• Translate brand strategy and creative direction into engaging graphics, layouts, and visual

storytelling across digital and print touchpoints

• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the brand’s visual identity through innovative graphic design, typography,

composition, and creative execution

Graphic Design & Execution

• Design and deliver high-quality visual assets across digital and print, including campaigns, SoMe, lookbooks,

packaging, and e-commerce content

• Ensure consistency and excellence across all brand touchpoints

• Take ownership of projects from initial concept through to final production

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Act as a key design partner to Marketing, E-commerce, and external collaborators

• Present and communicate creative ideas and solutions to stakeholders

• Collaborate closely with the Image Director to align on visual direction

Production & Quality Control

• Oversee and ensure high standards in art working, layout, and final delivery

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with a structured and proactive approach

• Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines and technical requirements

Spatial & Technical Design (CAD)

• Develop or support technical drawings and layouts using CAD tools (e.g. retail spaces, showrooms, packaging,

installations)

• Contribute to spatial and experiential design elements where relevant

Asset & Workflow Management

• Ensure efficient organization and management of design assets and files

• Establish and maintain best practices for workflows and file structures

Additional Brand Activities

• Proactively identify opportunities to elevate the brand’s visual expression

• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and innovations relevant to the brand

Skillset and attributes

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere)

• Strong experience with Figma and digital design workflows

• Ability to develop creative concepts and translate brand strategy into visual direction

• Experience managing design projects from concept to final delivery

• Knowledge of print production and material execution

• Experience with CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino

• Basic UI/UX understanding

• Experience designing web and mobile

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Agility and efficiency in terms of daily ad hoc internal tasks/requests

• A refined eye for aesthetics, detail, and brand consistency

• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset

• Fluent in English
