About the Role

<p>We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Adviser to join our HR team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fast-paced, office-based role in the heart of Glasgow, providing expert HR support across a wide range of employee relations matters.</p> <p>The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a high volume of casework, ensuring managers receive timely, pragmatic and commercially focused advice while maintaining compliance with employment legislation and company policies.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a busy environment and has strong employee relations experience.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Managing a high volume of employee relations cases from initial consultation through to resolution.</li> <li>Providing advice and guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, conduct and capability matters.</li> <li>Supporting and, where required, leading formal HR meetings and investigations.</li> <li>Ensuring all casework is managed in line with employment law, company policies and best practice.</li> <li>Preparing and reviewing HR documentation, including investigation reports, outcome letters and management guidance.</li> <li>Supporting managers with complex employee issues and escalating risks where appropriate.</li> <li>Maintaining accurate HR records and case management data.</li> <li>Partnering with key stakeholders to identify and implement practical HR solutions.</li> <li>Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as required during the contract period.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will have:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in an HR Adviser or Employee Relations-focused role.</li> <li>Strong experience managing a high volume of complex casework.</li> <li>Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.</li> <li>Confidence in coaching and influencing managers at all levels.</li> <li>A proactive and solutions-focused approach.</li> <li>CIPD qualification or working towards qualification is desirable.</li> </ul>
