Level 3 TA - Early Years - Dewsbury

About the Role:

Justteachers is recruiting a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a primary school in Dewsbury, starting in September. The school is recognised for its engaging Early Years provision, strong focus on child development and commitment to creating a happy, stimulating environment where every child can flourish. A permanent opportunity is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Deliver engaging activities to support early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Assist with observations, assessments and tracking pupil progress.
• Support children’s social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider EYFS team.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.

Pre-requisites:

• Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
• Experience working within an EYFS setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• A caring, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.
