Warehouse Operative

<p><strong>Warehouse Operative (3-Month Temp 2 Perm)<br />Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | £27,000 Pro Rata<br />Rugby, Warwickshire<br />Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week</strong></p> <p>We have an excellent opportunity for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company in Rugby on a 3-month temp 2 perm contract.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone with previous warehouse experience who is looking to develop in their career. You will complete a 13-week temporary contract and the role will turn permanent following successful completion of this.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated warehouse operative, that is looking for the potential to develop into a team leader. Full training and development will be provided, if you desire to move into a more senior role. This will be optional.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage goods-in processes, accurately recording all deliveries on internal systems</li> <li>Ensure all deliveries are correctly labelled, stored, and processed</li> <li>Organise and store stock in designated locations</li> <li>Prepare shipments for American and international dispatch</li> <li>Ensure all items are securely packaged and protected prior to shipping</li> <li>Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently (where licensed)</li> <li>Carry out regular stock checks and inventory control</li> <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment</li> <li>Strong attention to detail when handling and recording stock</li> <li>Basic IT skills and familiarity with warehouse systems</li> <li>Good communication and teamwork abilities</li> <li>Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)</li> <li>Experience with international shipping procedures (preferred but not essential)</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Competitive salary of £27,000 (pro rata)</strong></li> <li>Full-time position (40 hours per week)</li> <li>A 3 month temporary contract, with a view to the role going permanent after successful completion of 13 weeks work</li> <li>Immediate start available</li> </ul> <p><strong><a href="mailto:Alice.holwell@elix-solutions.co.uk" target="_blank">Alice.holwell@elix-solutions.co.uk</a> &#8211; REF 5057</strong></p> <p>Elix sourcing solutions is a specialist recruiter for Engineering, IT and Science roles ranging from mid to senior level positions.
