Management Accountant - Milton Keynes

We are working with a growing automotive supply business seeking a Qualified Management Accountant to take ownership of our financial reporting, performance analysis, and management accounts function. Reporting into the UK Finance Director with relationship build with the Spanish head office

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful management accounts to support operational and strategic decision-making across the business.

Working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will leverage real-time financial and operational data to improve visibility across inventory, sales, procurement, and profitability. Experience of Management of Invoice Discounting facility

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
• Analysis of product and customer profitability within an automotive supply environment
• Stock valuation oversight and margin reconciliation across multiple product lines
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with actionable commentary
• Development of KPI dashboards to support commercial decision-making
• Continuous improvement of reporting processes using Business Central
• Business partnering with operations, procurement, and sales teams

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong experience in management accounting within a product-based or inventory-driven business
• Confident working with ERP systems, essentially Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into commercial insight
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

This is an interim 3-6 month contract due to a new business win within the automotive sector and an exciting time to join the business
