This is a pivotal role for the business and at a time of significant expansion. Our International client has shown impressive results in recent years and is now looking to hire an in-house Tax Manager as they embark on their next phase of growth.  Key Responsibilities  Ensure compliance with UK tax law, HMRC Guidelines and international tax regulations Monitor changes in UK tax law and HMRC guidance and assess their impact on the organization Manage and mitigate tax risk through effective controls, documentation, and governance processes Ensure timely filing of tax declarations in the UK group, including: Corporation Tax returns (CT600) and related computations Quarterly instalment payments (QIPs) and deferred tax calculations VAT returns and Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance PAYE, NIC, and other employment-related taxes Stamp Duty and Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) on relevant transactions Monitor and ensure compliance with Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) rules Prepare and manage annual tax provisions and disclosures in financial statements Develop and implement tax strategies aimed at optimizing the UK group’s tax burden Regularly analyse corporate structure to identify tax-saving opportunities Collaborate with tax advisors on HMRC enquiries or tax audits and with auditors on accounting audits Oversee transfer pricing documentation Manage tax implications of domestic and cross-border inter-company transactions  Advise on tax matters for new projects, investments or acquisitions, restructuring or financing arrangements Cooperate with the Accounting and Controlling departments and Group headquarters to integrate UK tax aspects into financial planning, budgeting and Group tax reporting    Our client has modern offices in central Liverpool but has also embraced hybrid working.  Apply Job Alert Mark Thomas Director 0151 453 6700 eMail Recruiter Click to copy recruiter's email LinkedIn Profile VIEW MORE OF MY JOBS Can't find the job you're looking for? Complete this short form & submit your CV then we will do the rest (Permitted file size is 5Mb and file types are: doc, docx, txt, pdf, rtf, xls) Attach CV* Send
