Competitive Salary DOE Monthly team lunch Free On-Site Parking Supportive, family owned business with a close knit and collaborative culture About You Part-qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience with relevant experience in a similar role Strong IT skills, with confidence working across accounting software and Excel Good analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and interpret financial data effectively Clear communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to both finance and non finance colleagues Ability to work well in a busy environment with changing priorities Your Responsibilities Always: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines Support the completion of year end accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors as required Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances for review Often: Produce financial reports for management, outlining key trends and performance indicators Support analysis of margins, cash flow, and cost performance to aid commercial decision making Identify opportunities to improve processes within the finance function Work with other departments to ensure financial information supports operational objectives Assist operational teams with the financial aspects of projects and cost control initiatives Occasionally: Support upgrades or improvements to financial systems and reporting tools Act as a point of contact for external stakeholders, including auditors and banking partners Contribute to business planning and longer term financial forecasting Assist with financial input for growth plans, expansions, or new initiatives
