This rewarding role involves supporting students who may face social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, helping them to engage positively with their education and reach their potential.

Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies, the successful candidate will build strong relationships with pupils, providing consistent guidance, encouragement, and intervention strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a lasting impact on young people’s lives and promoting positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.

  • Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress, attendance, and behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to support student development.

Pre-requisites:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational, pastoral, or mentoring capacity.
  • Strong behaviour management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting students.
