About the Role
<p><strong>Temporary Production Operative (Temp to Perm)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Bridgwater </p>
<p><strong>Hours:</strong> Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday 8am until 4.30pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday </p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong> £12.71 per hour</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform dimensional and visual inspections of all products. </li>
<li>Operate various production machinery, including weighing, mixing, and pressing equipment. </li>
<li>Set up tooling for production runs. </li>
<li>Conduct quality checks throughout the production process. </li>
<li>Carry out all operations as outlined in production paperwork and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). </li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times. </li>
<li>Work flexibly and be willing to be transferred to other production areas as needed. </li>
<li>Perform all work activities in accordance with health and safety requirements. </li>
<li>Maintain a high standard of punctuality and attendance. </li>
<li>Work well under the pressure of deadlines. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Skills of a Production Operative:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial. </li>
<li>Good manual dexterity. </li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. </li>
<li>An understanding of how quality impacts business operations. </li>
<li>The ability to understand and complete paperwork accurately. </li>
<li>A team player with a positive attitude. </li>
<li>Flexible with the ability to learn new skills and adapt to new processes. </li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>A strong health and safety mindset. </li>
</ul>
