About the Role
Position Overview: The Maintenance Clerk is responsible for asset management, work planning, and managing spare part inventory using EAM software (SAP / Maximo). Additional responsibilities include keeping spare parts organized, clean, and inventory cycle counts. The maintenance clerk will support the maintenance planner with work order administration, reporting, purchasing, and managing outside contracts. Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate inventory counts and levels of the maintenance spares inventory in all storerooms including purchase order tracking, expediting orders, and audits • Organize, track, and complete purchase orders through completion for all EAM orders and direct entry orders in ERP • Loading of initial spares into inventory including organizing spare parts storage and set up in EAM • Check all packing slips for incoming goods for accuracy against actual items received; note discrepancies, supply documentation to purchasing if needed for processing • Assist in researching and locating parts and services from vendors and contractors as needed • Train maintenance/operations personnel in proper use of EAM to ensure highest quality work orders are produced and maintained for future reference • Interface directly with manufacturing representatives to help drive preventative maintenance schedules, techniques and training • Identify, record and manage obsolete inventory parts • Responsible to report safety, quality, and regulatory compliance concerns to leadership • Other responsibilities as required Education & Experience Minimum Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or executioner role supporting maintenance activities. • High School Diploma or GED Preferred Skills & Competencies: • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) • Effective communication skills - speak, read and write effectively • Experience with SAP or Maximo. • Mechanical aptitude, technical ability, and problem solving skills • Demonstrated drive for results • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals • Excellent attention to detail, good organization, and capable of working independently • Working in a clean room environment • Experience in a high-speed production environment Physical Requirements: • Required to stand for at least 75% of working time per shift, with walking at least 50% of working time per shift • Required to reach above shoulder frequently and below waist occasionally • Required to push and pull • Ability to lift up to 20lbs occasionally, 5-20lbs frequently • Occasional travel may be required for training or other purposes <5% NOTE: This position requires on-site working (requires on-site office/plant/lab work). #LI-Onsite Additional Information: Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $23.30 - $34.95 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
