Node.js Technical Lead

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead with strong Node.js expertise to help build and scale a London based B2B SaaS platform from an early stage.  

About the Project
The product is a B2B marketplace platform that connects football player sellers (e.g. agents, clubs) with buyers (clubs, organizations). It simplifies how talent is discovered, evaluated, and transferred in a structured and scalable way. 

This is a key role combining architecture, development, and team building. You will work closely with founders and take ownership of the technical direction while actively contributing to the codebase. You will also be an important part of the recruitment process to scale the team with frontend, QA and testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable B2B SaaS architecture

• Develop backend services using Node.js

• Contribute to frontend development using React, Next.js, and Tailwind

• Take ownership of technical decisions and system design

• Build and grow the engineering team (participate in hiring)

Requirements

Must-have:

• 7+ years of software development experience

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js

• Strong expertise in React (Tailwind), Next.js, Node.js

• Experience building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms

• Strong system design and architecture skills

• Hands-on mindset with willingness to code

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with other backend languages (e.g. .NET or Java)

• Experience working in early-stage startups

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms

Location: Poland (with monthly visits to Warsaw office)
