The successful candidate will review current legislation and best practice relating to offensive weapons, including bladed articles, crossbows, corrosive substances, and zombie-style knives and machetes. You will be responsible for producing clear and effective guidance, conducting compliance and enforcement activities where required, and engaging with stakeholders to promote awareness and adherence to legal requirements.

Applicants should have strong experience within Public Protection, enforcement, or a related regulatory field, together with a sound understanding of the Offensive Weapons Act, age-restricted sales, licensing requirements, and Home Office guidance.
