Business Unit Description NXP Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) is the Go-to-Market organization for NXP’s business units. We own the customer relationships and thus ensures customers’ needs are met and NXP growth ambitions are achieved by identifying and creating opportunities for customers to innovate in focused markets using NXP’s diverse product portfolio. Job Summary: The Account Manager will be responsible for a focused top tier account in Bay Area, California. You will be part of a high performing team that is leading and shaping our future business with one of the biggest and most innovative customers in consumer electronics industry. With your knowledge and experience, you will cultivate design in opportunities, drive roadmaps both internally and with the customer, and be accountable in executing our growth strategy by securing design wins and converting them to revenue. As an Account Manager in NXP you’ll be part of a global go-to Market team that sets a bar to deliver an aggressive 2x market growth for all NXP’s businesses by building and maintaining strong relationships within the customers and within NXP. You will leverage your knowledge of the industry and customers eco system to position NXP and execute innovative approaches to out maneuver the competition every day! 100% accountability and ownership of NXP’s performance within the assigned account Owns the design, deployment and execution of a winning account strategy to identify each project, device, and win every opportunity for NXP, across the full portfolio of NXP products. Identifies key decision makers within customer engineering, executive team, purchasing and establishes relationships in favor of NXP Coordinates extended team of Business Line (BL), NXP Management Team, and Customer Application Solution (CAS) to execute strategy with speed and quality Identifies, qualifies, and closes all design-in opportunities Defines early engagement model at accounts for new business models Coordinates and facilitates joint business meetings across units, geographies and drives strategy towards the BL (i.e., roadmap development, alignment of support resources) Creates negotiation strategies for deals partnering with the business lines to ensure business objectives are met Identifies and captures growth opportunities Facilitates development of solutions with the client as a relationship, helping them design future products and being an ecosystem player in the customer buying group Provides and maintains up to date and accurate forecasts that provide visibility of the progression of opportunities in the customer so decisions and commitments can be made and met. This forecast will be delivered through NXP’s Opportunity Management System (SFDC) Key Attributes Builds strong customer relationships and collaborates on executive level, to deliver customer-centric solutions Operates effectively in times of ambiguity, manages risk well, ability to make decisions and act without the full picture Demonstrates high learning agility and strong analytical skills, both technical-literate and business-savvy – time spent in R&D is welcomed Is a highly self-motivated, self-driven individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced technology environment to drive real-world solutions Has the ability to influence and to communicate the value proposition of NXP’s products as they apply to the customer Builds strong and collaborative relationships with Business Lines and maps them appropriately to the end customer – a team driven dynamic Is comfortable working in a target driven environment/working with targets (i.e. Revenue, Design-win, new projects/products/solutions, share of wallet, account productivity, market share, net promotor score) and exceed the quarterly targets Tenacity - Not willing to lose any opportunity, no matter the odds of NXP winning or losing Job Qualifications: Bachelor/Master Degree Electrical or Computer Science Engineering Experience in managing and growing a global, major account, with a specific focus on the data center and robotics markets. Proven track record of fast pace, high tech selling in the semiconductor marketplace Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Strong negotiation and influencing skills 10+ years of focused account management experience required Location: San Jose , CA The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles. Company benefits include health. dental, and vision insurance. 401(k), and paid leave. Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations.
