Fire & Security Service Manager

Job Title: Fire & Security Service Manager Location: Essex Salary: From £50,000 to £60,000 per annum Are you looking for a Fire & Security Service Manager position working in Essex? As a Fire & Security Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Service Department, ensuring service, maintenance, commissioning, and small works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You will be working for a well-established Fire & Security business delivering Fire, Security, and IRS solutions across London and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities: ● Lead the day-to-day running of the Service Department ● Plan and manage service activity to ensure work is completed on time and within budget ● Oversee service, maintenance, commissioning, and small works contracts through to completion ● Support, train, and supervise service engineers, apprentices, and trainees ● Identify small works opportunities, prepare quotations, and secure orders ● Manage paperwork, reporting, and client invoicing ● Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery ● Provide hands-on support where required to maintain high levels of client satisfaction Experience and Certifications required: ● A minimum of 5 years’ experience within Fire & Security or a similar technical environment ● Strong knowledge of Fire Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems ● Experience managing teams and multiple priorities ● Relevant industry qualifications such as FIA, NSI, LPCB or City & Guilds ● Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills ● Ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences ● Proactive and customer-focused approach ● Ability to pass DBS/CRB and security screening checks Please apply with an up-to-date CV for more information.
