We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded professional to help scale the supply side of our marketplace by acquiring and onboarding new distributors across Europe.
This role is focused on building strong merchant partnerships, expanding product availability, and driving marketplace growth through proactive outreach and smooth onboarding processes.

Position: Merchant Acquisition Specialist / Manager
🎯What you’ll be doing:
1. Merchant Acquisition
Identify and prospect new distributors and wholesalers in the PV sector across European markets (with a strong focus on DACH region)
Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, campaigns) to generate interest and onboard new merchants
Build and manage a pipeline of potential partners
2. Merchant Onboarding & Activation
Guide newly acquired merchants through the onboarding process (registration, setup, first listings)
Ensure merchants are fully operational on the platform (offers uploaded, pricing set, availability confirmed)
Drive “time-to-first-offer” and “time-to-first-transaction”
Identify and remove onboarding friction points
Collaborate with Merchant Success team on handover of activated accounts
3. Feedback & Cross-functional Collaboration
Collect insights from merchants regarding pricing, availability, and market trends
Identify common onboarding blockers and propose improvements
Provide structured feedback to Product and Merchant Success teams
🔎 What we’re looking for - must have:
1–5+ years of experience in:
sales / business development / merchant acquisition / partnerships
preferably in marketplace, e-commerce, or B2B trading environments
Fluent in English and German (C1 minimum) — both spoken and written
Strong outbound mindset (calls, cold outreach, follow-ups)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
High level of ownership and execution focus
Nice-to-have
Experience in the solar / renewable energy / PV industry
Familiarity with marketplace dynamics (supply vs demand balancing)
Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot)
Understanding of B2B trading processes and distributor workflows
