About the Role
Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-known and highly regarded business based in Ayrshire for an experienced <strong>Credit Controller</strong> to join their finance team on a permanent basis.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised finance professional looking to join a successful organisation with a strong reputation in its sector. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will play a key role in managing the company's credit control function and maintaining strong relationships with customers.<br><br>The RoleAs Credit Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring outstanding debts are collected in a timely manner while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.<br><br>Key responsibilities will include:<br><br><ul><li>Managing a portfolio of customer accounts<br><br></li><ul><li>Chasing overdue payments via telephone, email and written correspondence<br><br></li><li>Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts<br><br></li><li>Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries<br><br></li><li>Producing aged debt reports and providing regular updates to management<br><br></li><li>Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers<br><br></li><li>Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements<br><br></li><li>Working closely with internal departments to resolve outstanding issues and minimise debt risk<br><br></li></ul></ul>About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:<br><br><ul><li>Previous experience within a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable position<br><br></li><ul><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills<br><br></li><li>Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities<br><br></li><li>The ability to work independently and manage a busy workload<br><br></li><li>Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach<br><br></li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems<br><br></li></ul></ul>What's on Offer?<ul><li>Competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience<br><br></li><ul><li>Permanent, full-time position<br><br></li><li>Opportunity to join a well-established and respected business<br><br></li><li>Supportive and collaborative working environment<br><br></li><li>Career development opportunities<br><br></li></ul></ul>If you are an experienced Credit Controller looking for your next challenge in Ayrshire, we'd love to hear from you.<br><br>Apply today or contact Pertemps for a confidential discussion.
