Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by maintaining and repairing plant equipment. This role is essential to ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and overall production efficiency. Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm $20 - $22/hour plus $2/hour attendance bonus Responsibilities:  Maintain and repair plant equipment including bag line systems, augers, legs, mixers, and conditioners   Service and maintain forklifts, front-end loaders, pallet jacks, and air compressors   Maintain pesticide impregnating equipment and pumps   Perform maintenance on Cambelt unloading systems   Complete and maintain accurate service logs for all equipment   Issue purchase orders and approve invoices for maintenance-related supplies   Perform electrical, plumbing, lubrication, and general construction tasks as needed   Assist with department budgeting and cost tracking Skills and Experience Previous experience in industrial or plant maintenance preferred   Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills   Ability to work independently with minimal supervision   Strong attention to detail and organizational skills   Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
