Job Title: 3rd shift Production Operator

Schedule/Shift/Days:

Sunday night/Monday morning: 12:00 AM – 6:30 AM
 Tuesday through Friday morning: 11:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Employees who work their full scheduled 34-hour workweek receive an additional 6 hours of bonus pay. This is the only shift that does not work overtime or mandatory Saturdays.

Client Overview: A leading manufacturer in the transportation safety industry, this High Point-based facility specializes in producing school bus seating and child passenger safety solutions. The organization focuses on innovative manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety-focused products that help protect passengers while supporting school transportation systems nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Take initiative and work proactively throughout daily tasks.
• Read and follow shop orders, production schedules, and written or verbal instructions.
• Identify and separate defective or nonconforming parts.
• Report equipment issues to maintenance and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain positive working relationships and contribute to a healthy team environment.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain punctual and reliable attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

PPE

• Safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves provided.
• Steel-toed shoes required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, kneel, or crouch as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
