<p><strong>Job Title: EVS Technician</strong><p><strong>Job Description</strong><p>The EVS Technician maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing deep cleaning of non-occupied and isolation patient rooms in a hospital setting. This role includes thorough disinfection, bed making, and handling soiled linens while following strict safety and infection control procedures. The EVS Technician interacts regularly with patients, nurses, doctors, and other staff, providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive experience for everyone in the facility.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform deep cleaning of non-occupied patient rooms, typically taking 20–30 minutes per room, ensuring all surfaces and high-touch areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.</li><li>Make beds in patient rooms, including flipping mattresses and preparing clean, comfortable sleeping areas according to hospital standards.</li><li>Collect used linens, place them into large, heavy bags, and safely transport and place the bags down the linen chute.</li><li>Clean and disinfect isolation rooms by following strict safety, infection control, and protective equipment procedures.</li><li>Thoroughly mop floors using a string mop, ensuring all areas are sanitized and free from spills, debris, and hazards.</li><li>Clean and disinfect all surfaces in patient rooms, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment, to maintain a hygienic environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>At least 6 months of previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in a hospital or hotel environment.</li><li>Demonstrated custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping skills, including deep cleaning and room turnover.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, nurses, doctors, visitors, and team members.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience and making someone’s day.</li><li>Ability to work independently as a self-starter, staying productive and organized without constant supervision.</li></ul><p><strong style="font-size:15px;">shift : </strong>1st shift - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,<p> 2nd shift - 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m<p> 3rd shift - 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.</p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Rock, TX.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $33.65/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
