GVR Solutions are currently representing one of the UK’s leading main contractors who are in the market for a Document Controller to join their team.

As a business they have been going for over 70 years and are well known as one of the UK’s leading main contractors. They are seeking a Document Controller to join their team that focuses on a range of New build construction projects in the Education, Hospitality, Industrial, MOJ, Leisure, Science, Commercial and Retail sectors.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain project documentation using Viewpoint (4Projects).
• Ensure version control and proper filing of all technical documents and drawings.
• Support the project team in distributing and tracking documents to internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Maintain document control logs and generate regular reports.
• Ensure compliance with company and project-specific procedures.
• Provide training and support to project staff on document control processes and systems

Document Controller Main responsibilities:

• Proven experience as a Document Controller within a main contractor or construction environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Viewpoint (4Projects) is essential.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with construction documentation and terminology.
