<p><span><strong>Storyside </strong>is one of the world's largest digital publishers, offering a high-quality catalog in more than 30 languages, and a part of Storytel Group, providing millions of listeners and readers with engaging content across multiple markets. </span><br><span>The <strong>Storyside</strong> editorial team consists of 30 publishing professionals, based in 12 countries, with headquarters in Stockholm Sweden.</span></p><p><span><strong>Storyside is looking for an experienced, strategic and results-driven Publishing Manager to lead Storyside in Poland. </strong></span><br><br><span>This pivotal role is based in Storytel’s office in Warsaw and reports directly to the Storyside Publishing Director, based in Stockholm. </span><br><br><span>You will assume the strategic and commercial leadership for Storyside in Poland, including developing and executing a high-impact Publishing strategy, managing the Production budget, and leading the catalogue to consistently exceed key financial and performance targets. </span><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"Helvetica Neue", sans-serif;color:rgb(31, 31, 31);background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap;"><br></span><br><span>This is a role requiring an experienced professional to consolidate and strengthen our market position, and an expert at aligning long-term publishing strategy with lean operational workflows, ensuring every title—from acquisition to distribution—is optimized for commercial ROI.</span><br><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"Helvetica Neue", sans-serif;color:rgb(31, 31, 31);background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap;"><br></span><span>You will be a part of a local team of two, working closely with the Storyside Creative lead for Original Content, as well as with Storyside publishing colleagues around the world, and cross functionally within the Storytel Group and the Storytel Poland team. </span><br></p><p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span><strong>Define and drive the long-term Publishing strategy</strong> for Storyside Poland, identifying core growth vectors and commercial opportunities </span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Oversee the full Polish Storyside catalog,</strong> making sure the catalog offering is utilized and handled to maximize performance and profitability</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Manage the Production Budget </strong>for Storyside Poland, ensuring optimal ROI on investments</span></p></li><li><p><span>Be responsible for the yearly planning of releases, ensuring an attractive and competitive release-plan throughout the year</span></p></li><li><p><span>Set, and continuously follow up and deliver on, financial targets and performance KPIs</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span><strong>A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Senior Publishing,</strong> with a significant track record in a strategic/ managerial role, ideally within the audiobook, streaming, or digital media industry.</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Proven experience managing a P&L or a significant commercial budget</strong> with direct accountability for performance metrics.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong interest in and knowledge about commercial literature and the <strong>ability to identify emerging trends and commercial opportunities. </strong></span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Exceptional commercial and analytical acumen</strong> with a proven history of leveraging data to inform strategic content decisions and maximize catalogue profitability.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strategic, results-oriented, and possessing excellent communication skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Fluent in English</strong> both written and spoken</span></p></li></ul>
