JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Purpose
The Head of Sales & Operations is responsible for leading all commercial and operational activities related to the installation and service of wind turbines across Europe. The role ensures safe, efficient, and profitable execution of projects by aligning sales strategy with operational capacity, supply chain constraints, and project risk profiles.
This position is critical in securing high-quality contracts and ensuring their successful delivery across complex, multi-country onshore and offshore environments.

Success Profile
Education:
· Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project or Business Management
Experience
- 10 Years + leadership experience in wind energy, construction, or heavy infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing complex, multi-country operations and large project portfolios.
- Operational site management experience is an advantage.
Capabilities
- Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of contract structures.
- Expertise in project execution, logistics planning, and resource optimization.
- Deep understanding of HSE requirements in high-risk environments (especially offshore).
- Ability to manage uncertainty.
- Stakeholder management & strategic thinking (scaling operations, process optimization and standardization across countries)
Leadership
- Proven ability to lead a large team of cross-functional managers and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong stakeholder management across internal and external partners.
- Performance-driven with focus on accountability, transparency, and execution discipline.
Mobility:
· Willing to travel (Europe-wide).
Key Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Business Leadership:
- Execute, lead and coordinate Sales and Operations for wind turbine installation and service projects and activities across Europe.
- Translate global strategy into regional execution, considering market dynamics, supply chain constraints, and regulatory environments.
- Ensure alignment between commercial pipeline, capacity and strategic priorities.
Commercial & Financial Performance:
- Revenue and EBITDA delivery.
- Own regional revenue, margin, and EBITDA performance and
- cash generation.
- Ensure high-quality backlog with strong contractual terms, margin discipline, and manageable risk exposure.
- Support bid, pricing, and contract negotiations for installation projects.
Operational Execution & Project Delivery:
- Ensure safe and efficient execution of projects (onshore and offshore)
- Drive performance in project delivery including schedule adherence, cost control, and resource optimization.
- Ensure readiness and mobilization of project teams, equipment, and subcontractors.
HSE & Quality Leadership:
- Champion a strong safety culture across the whole organization.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, including offshore safety regulations where applicable.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality performance and reduction of Cost of NCRs.
Risk Management & Contract Governance:
- Identify and manage commercial, operational, and execution risks
- Ensure robust contract management and claims handling.
- Ensure compliance in project deliveries.
- Escalate critical risks and deviations in line with governance frameworks.
Performance Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and transparent forecasting and reporting of pipeline, backlog, and execution performance.
- Track KPIs across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and profitability, net working capital and cash generation.
- Report performance, risks, and deviations to CSOO and EMT.
Decision Authority:
- Authorized to make commercial and operational decisions within defined scope.
- Accountable for balancing growth, profitability, and execution risk.
- Escalates strategic or high-risk decisions to CSOO.
