You’ll play a key role in ensuring shipments move efficiently while delivering high levels of customer service and operational accuracy. This is a varied position offering exposure to both sales and operations within an international logistics environment. <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Respond to customer quote requests and pricing enquiries</li> <li>Liaise with airlines, suppliers, and overseas partners to secure competitive rates</li> <li>Manage bookings and coordinate freight movements</li> <li>Prepare and process operational documentation accurately</li> <li>Support import and export air freight operations</li> <li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships</li> <li>Ensure shipments are handled efficiently and compliantly</li> <li>Provide proactive updates and support to customers throughout the shipment process</li> <li>Work collaboratively with operations and commercial teams to deliver excellent service levels</li> </ul> <h2>What We’re Looking For</h2> <h3>Experience & Knowledge</h3> <ul> <li>Previous experience within air freight, freight forwarding, or logistics operations</li> <li>Exposure to import/export procedures and shipment coordination</li> <li>Sales or customer-facing experience within the cargo or logistics sector</li> <li>Understanding of airline bookings and freight documentation would be advantageous</li> </ul> <h3>Skills & Attributes</h3> <ul> <li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li> <li>Organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively</li> <li>IT literate and confident using operational systems</li> <li>Commercially aware with a proactive mindset</li> <li>Team player with a positive and flexible approach</li> <li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving operational environment</li> </ul> WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
