Product Specialist (UK) - Secondary Care | Psychiatry / CNS / Sleep Disorders

Are you an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional looking to play a key role in a product launch?

We are partnering with an innovative pharmaceutical organisation seeking a Product Specialist to drive awareness, adoption, and commercial success across a defined UK territory.

This is a field-based role focused on engaging secondary care specialists, building advocacy, and delivering strong territory performance through strategic, insight-led engagement.

  • You will take full ownership of your territory, leading launch execution and driving uptake through targeted, value-based engagement with healthcare professionals.
  • Launch and grow promoted products across your territory
  • Develop and execute a robust cross-functional territory business plan
  • Build strong relationships with specialists, key opinion leaders, and priority stakeholders
  • Drive hospital formulary inclusion and support development of local pathway guidelines
  • Use CRM systems, digital analytics, and omnichannel tools to optimise customer engagement
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, identify risks and opportunities, and manage territory budgets
  • Collaborate closely with Medical, Market Access, Marketing, and Patient Support teams
  • Educate healthcare professionals on safe and appropriate use within approved indications
  • Represent the organisation at congresses, meetings, and educational event

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

  • Minimum of two years pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally within secondary care
  • ABPI qualification is essential
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding territory sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the patient journey and healthcare professional adoption pathway
  • Experience engaging specialist clinicians in Psychiatry, CNS, or Sleep Disorders is advantageous
  • Proven ability to secure formulary inclusion and influence local treatment pathways
  • Confident using CRM platforms and omnichannel tools to personalise engagement
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally
