Vertas is looking for a dedicated Meals on Wheels Delivery Driver to join our Catering team.About the Role:Based at Rainworth Distribution Unit, Southwell Road West, Rainworth, NG21 0HJ, you will be working approximately 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, around 4 hours per day. You will also work one weekend in every four, for 4 hours per day. You'll play a key role in delivering hot meals to vulnerable customers and carrying out essential "Safe and Well" checks to support their wellbeing.Your responsibilities will include:Pick, pack and deliver meals on time and at safe temperaturesCarry out "Safe & Well" checks and report any changes in customer wellbeingEnsure meals are accessible and suitable for consumptionMaintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defectsLock and unlock the distribution facility as part of the weekend rotaFollow all vehicle operation and safety proceduresRecord and return any waste mealsDistribute leaflets and assist with customer surveys when requiredWho are we looking for?Strong customer care skills with the ability to observe and report wellbeing concernsKnowledge of basic food hygiene and health and safetyConfidence driving in all weather conditionsFriendly, flexible and adaptable approachWhat You'll BringMust hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle (where applicable)Excellent organisational and time-management skillsThe right to work in the UKEnhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)Apply TodayIf you're ready to bring your skills to a company that values people and places, apply now and start your journey with Vertas.
