Technical CAD Designer

A leading UK manufacturing company specialising in high-quality displays and fixtures for premium brands across the retail and hospitality sectors is seeking a Technical CAD Designer to join its busy design team based in Letchworth Garden City.   The company operates from a large UK-based manufacturing facility with fully integrated, in-house capabilities including metalwork, joinery, plastics, and print, offering a complete design and manufacturing solution under one roof.   This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced design and manufacturing environment.   There could be opportunities within this business for both an experienced Designer and also a less experienced candidate in need of training and development.  You will ideally have some relevant experience or a related degree.   The Role Create workable designs for manufacture while maintaining original design intent Produce full production drawing packs using 3D CAD software Assist in managing projects throughout the entire manufacturing process Liaise and consult with customers and suppliers   The Person Experience using Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks Retail design and joinery experience is ideal. Excellent communication and organisational skills Strong attention to detail Ability to manage own projects to tight deadlines Based within a commutable distance of Letchworth Garden City
